Unlike factory bump stops that engage abruptly, DuroBumps use dual-durometer rubber technology to deliver smooth, progressive compression. This allows the bump stop to function as a secondary coil spring, absorbing impact energy predictably and eliminating the harsh “shell-shock” feeling when encountering rocks, ledges, or deep compressions.
