Equip your 5th Generation Toyota 4Runner (2010–Present) with the ultimate safeguard against the elements. The Dobinsons SN59-3467 Snorkel Kit is a precision-engineered raised air intake system designed to protect your 4.0L V6 engine from the hazards of deep-water crossings and heavy trail dust.

By relocating the engine’s air intake from the vulnerable factory inner-fender to a high point near the roofline, this snorkel ensures your vehicle draws in cleaner, cooler air. This significantly reduces the risk of hydro-locking during river crossings and extends the life of your air filter by avoiding the thick dust clouds generated by convoy travel.

Key Features

  • Safe Water Fording: Elevates the air intake point to the roofline, allowing for safer deep-water crossings and protecting your engine from water ingress.
  • Cleaner Engine Induction: Draws air from a higher, cleaner position, which maintains optimal performance and engine longevity in dusty off-road environments.
  • Premium LLDPE Material: Constructed from UV-resistant Linear Low-Density Polyethylene for maximum durability against sun exposure and trail impacts.
  • Precision CNC Fitment: Specifically tailored for the 5th Gen 4Runner chassis, ensuring a professional, factory-integrated appearance.
  • Optimized Airflow: Designed to provide a constant supply of cooler air compared to the heat-soaked engine bay, aiding in overall combustion efficiency.

Breathe Easier on the Trail. Protect your 5th Gen 4Runner from catastrophic engine damage. Upgrade to the Dobinsons SN59-3467 Snorkel Kit today and venture further with total confidence. Enhance your rig’s protection and prepare for your next adventure.

Great product, get help of you are new to working on your car.

So far the snorkel is everything I would want it to be. The template was not as accurate, you will want to test the template with the screws resting on the snorkel first. Biggest regret was trying to go without a step dril-bit. It is HIGHLY recommended... Otherwise make sure also to measure your holes for the A-pillar first. I decided to use double sided tape and the snorkel is on very tight.

4WD CREW Dobinsons - Snorkel Kit for Toyota 4Runner 5th Gen 2010-2020 4.0L V6 Review
  • How was the installation? Took some time, but was able to do it myself
  • How were the instructions? Not terrible, but could be better
  • Any tips You really should get a professional technical writer to do your instructions. Also, you should survey people who are less savvy at body work and a few more details. The flow of the instruction document is terrible and needs to be arranged better.
